Hi, I would like to introduce myself; I'm Paul and say a big welcome to Bah-Humbug Sweets Limited. This is us on the day we opened our shop for business in 2012. It’s hard to believe over ten years have passed...

Bah-Humbug Sweets was born after a brainstorming session with the theme “What do I want to do with my life if I did not want to work for someone else?”

Retro shopping is big business today and with the economy as it is; sweets, especially those with the feel-good nostalgia of our childhood, are a relatively inexpensive way of helping us manage the stresses of everyday living and go back to a time when things were simpler.

You are clearly a traditional sweets aficionado and might have similar fond memories to us, of shopping with parents or grandparents for a few sweeties for being a good boy or girl. I can still remember the excitement of going to the local sweet shop with a few pennies in my pocket and being allowed to spend them on anything in the shop and coming away with a bag of lovely tasting sweets.

With memories like these it’s not a surprise that I always hankered to own a sweet shop selling all those lovely confections we remember from childhood trips out with parents and grandparents... the rest as they say was easy in terms of decision-making!!

I have over 40 years of problems solving and retail management experience and felt the time was right to launch this adventure.
